The Opportunity

Hyatt seeks an enthusiastic Staff Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team where you’ll join a team of several field professionals who love what they do. In this role, you will be collaborating closely with the broader corporate accounting, financial reporting, and finance teams where you’ll be instrumental in continuing to make Hyatt a leading hospitality company. Who You Are

The Role

Routine responsibilities will include preparation of journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, financial statement analytics, and accumulation of details utilized to compile the quarterly statement of cash flows and footnote disclosures. Additional responsibilities include assisting in the enhancement of internal controls and participating in special projects that improve or streamline accounting processes. The role will work cross-functionally with several different teams within corporate accounting.

• Preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, analytics, and other requested details used for financial reporting

• Preparation and submission of invoices

• Prepare billings

• Preparation of quarterly and annual external reporting schedules, such as those related to cash flows and footnotes

Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business

• Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office

Experience Preferred:

• Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or business

• Certified Public Accountant
