Job description
Essential Duties:
- Sorting, coding and data entry vendor and manufacturer invoices into Reynolds and Reynolds system
- Verify and match invoices to purchase orders
- Process bi-weekly on-demand cheques
- Process monthly cheque run
- Process monthly business office remittances
- Reconcile vendor statements, manufacturer statements and credit card statements
- Reconcile electronic transfer payments account
- Reconcile sublet and payables schedules
- Preparing daily bank deposit and reconciling daily credit card receipts
- Preparation of monthly customer statements
- Payment taking and coordination with wholesale customers
- Filing
- Providing backup and relief coverage for reception, as needed
- Other duties as assigned by management
All successful applicants must possess the following qualities:
- Have working knowledge of the accounting cycle
- Accounts Payable related duties
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Be extremely organized and detail-oriented
- Be self-motivated and pro-active
- Ability to handle high volume of transactions within tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Positive attitudes and a desire for continuous improvement for self and the organization
- Automotive Experience would be an asset
- Reynolds and Reynolds experience would be an asset
