Accountant
Up to £50,000.00 depending on experience
Mon - Fri 9 - 5

A very exciting opportunity for an established accountant to join a family investment company investing in property and non-property activity. Are you looking for an opportunity to to be a part of a growing company?

The Company

Specialising in a range of investment opportunities from developing commercial and holiday cottage accommodation to helping professionals grow their businesses and working alongside charity partnerships. We have extensive experience in property, marketing, investment and finance. Candidate will be working with a small, specialised team.

What will you do as the Accountant?

• Process invoices and follow up with clients, suppliers and partners as needed
• Track and reconcile bank statements
• Petty Cash reporting & reconciliation
• VAT return
• Credit card reconciliation
• Quarterly Management Accounts - Accruals & Prepayments
• Respond to Emails
• Invoicing tenants
• Cash Management (Cashflows)
• Payroll
• Submit P11d
• Update financial spreadsheets with daily transactions
• Prepare Statutory Accounts
• File confirmation Statements
• Prepare Fixed Asset Schedule
• Prepare Tax computation & completing Corporation Tax Return form
• Prepare Consolidated Position.

What skills and experience will the Accountant have?

• Accounting qualification equivalent to ICEAW or ACCA
• Experience in a Finance department or equivalent preferred and have used an
• accounting software package.
• Experience using Sage (desirable)
• Property based experience/knowledge of property management/ owning property (desirable)

Salary: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year

• Bachelor's (preferred)
