Who You'll Work With
Reporting to the Accountant, Enterprise Health Solutions Division, the Jr accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing AR invoices and submitting biweekly reports for overdue accounts.
What You'll Be Doing
- Quarterly broker commission file in RBC and individual statements to each broker plus Adhoc requests as required
- Medical Confidence - AR invoices from CRM portals for all clients approved by ops and sent to customer and setup in QBO
- PAD payment to be logged in QBO
- New client starts from excel spreadsheet, verified from EAP and entered in QBO with invoices setup on recurring
- Update employee count on invoices/recurring templates as per report from EAP expert.
- EFT payments to be logged in QBO, twice a month, RBC, BMO & TD
- Monthly/Quarterly invoices sent out to clients from QBO, as required
- FFS & CISD invoices at month end to clients as per report from EAP
- MC cheques received and deposited, updated in CRM portal with details
- Reminders for overdue accounts from the AR aging report provided on a Semi-monthly basis
- Submit biweekly reports on status of overdue accounts and reminders and calls to clients as required
- Maintain accurate financial files in electronic formats
- Other data entry tasks as required
What You Need to Be Successful
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or relevant field
- Proficiency with MS Excel
- This is a remote role that will require the successful candidate to have access to a quiet home office space with a reliable internet connection
What You Need to Stand Out
- Working towards CPA designation is an asset
