£40,000 - £55,000 (DOE)
Butler Rose (Public Practice) are delighted to be supporting our client, a dynamic and growing accountancy practice based in the City of London, in their search for an experienced and driven Senior Accountant to join the team.
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing the accounts of clients and ensuring their financial wellbeing. You will work closely with a team of accounting professionals to provide clients with the highest quality of service possible.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing a portfolio of clients' accounts, ensuring their accounts are kept up to date and accurate.
Providing expert advice and guidance to clients on accounting and tax issues.
Preparing accounts, tax returns, and other financial statements for clients.
Ensuring all accounting and tax deadlines are met.
Identifying opportunities for business growth and development.
Mentoring and supporting junior team members.
Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Requirements:
ACCA or ACA qualified with a minimum of 5 years' experience in an accountancy practice.
Strong technical knowledge of accounting and tax principles.
Ability to manage a portfolio of clients and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
Strong IT skills including experience with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks and Sage.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
