Your Opportunity

Our Guelph office is looking for a Junior Associate to join the Cloud Accounting Operations team and own the following responsibilities:

  • Provide full cycle bookkeeping services in a cloud-based environment
  • Respond to queries and correcting errors identified by Senior staff
  • Data entry; payroll processing, including input, validation and testing
  • Identify payroll data discrepancies outside of the norm and work with management on corrective actions
  • Process government remittances and statutory and non-statutory deductions for each pay-period (EI, CPP and EHT)
  • Communicate regularly with our clients, government agencies and other staff members

Y our experience and education

  • Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, and/or relevant working experience
  • A minimum of 1+ years of progressive, full-cycle accounting experience
  • Ability to transact in multiple accounting software programs including Xero or QuickBooks Online
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong ability to work well both independently and as part of a collaborative team
