Job description

Purpose of Position

As an Accountant in our Accounts Payable team, you make a significant contribution to the timely payment of accounts payable to our suppliers by processing incoming invoices.

When posting the documents, you ensure that the business transactions are correctly recorded and thus make a significant contribution to the correct preparation of the financial statements. In an international environment, you are also in charge of checking and reimbursing travel expense claims to our employees. All this happens in close cooperation with our Controlling, Accounting & Treasury team.


Key Tasks

  • Independent booking of current business transactions such as:
    • Incoming invoices including tracking of invoice circulation
    • Credit Cards
    • Travel Expenses
  • Carrying out bank accounting
  • Creation and execution of supplier payment runs (Microsoft D365 / CPweb Banking tool)
  • Master data maintenance & Account clarification
  • Assistance with monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements


Skills & Expertise

  • Training as a financial accountant, accounts payable clerk, tax clerk or comparable degree in finance and accounting or clerk
  • At least 2-3 years of professional experience in a comparable position
  • practical and theoretical knowledge of accounting according to local GAAP
  • Knowledge of a common accounting system, ideally MS D365
  • Good knowledge of MS Office products, especially Excel
  • Good communication (written and verbal in English), analytical and interpersonal skills (Company language: English)
  • Global mindset and team-oriented with the ability to develop internal relationships
  • Conscientiousness and flexibility are not foreign to you and you work goal-oriented and very conscientiously
