As a finance graduate you will join the wider Guinness graduate scheme cohort, which includes roles across various departments. Within finance you will combine studying for the ACA or ACCA qualification with gaining experience working across the Finance Directorate, over a three-year programme.
We are a large and complex organisation, with £400m of turnover and managing £1bn of assets. You will have the opportunity to gain experience across a range of finance areas including finance partnering, financial planning and budgeting, financial accounting, statutory accounts and audit, risk and controls, tax, rents and service charges and transactional finance.
We have made, and continue to make, significant investment in our people and systems and you will be working with best in class in both and in a culture of continuous improvement.
We will provide the support you need to succeed, including mentoring from our team of qualified accountants and college tuition for your qualification and support from our dedicated Learning and Development team.

About ACA/ACCA
The ACA and ACCA are world leading accountancy qualifications. Successful completion of the exam and work experience requirements will lead to designation as an Associate Chartered Accountant/Associate Chartered Certified Accountant which are globally recognised and highly sought after qualifications.
The qualification will equip you with commercial and strategic skills, as well as technical accounting knowledge, to work across multiple types of organisation and roles, and equip you to provide strategic insights and make a real impact on your organisation.
Pay Structure
1st year = £27,376
2nd year = £29,566
3rd year = £36,000

You’ll also be able to demonstrate:
Essential:
- Analytical approach with intellectual rigour and effective problem solving and sound judgement.
- Ability to understand, analyse, interpret, explain, and summarise complex data and issues in a logical manner.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to present succinctly.
- Awareness of the importance of delivering high quality and customer responsive services.
- Ability to develop effective relationships with diverse groups of people.
- Ability to prioritise and work as an effective member of a team.
- Ability to work on own initiative and to proactively communicate progress and issues to Managers.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours.
Desirable:
- Good knowledge and interest in social housing issues and services offered by registered providers and other housing regulatory bodies.
- Project Management experience.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- Level 2 (GCSE C+ or equivalent) Maths
- A degree.
