Hours: - 36 Hours Per Week (Mon-Fri)

Wanting to take this to the next step we are seeking to appoint a Accountancy Assistant to work as part of a professional service team responsible for the research funding portfolio for the University.
The post will involve research finance and administration; following complex financial guidelines, costing applications, providing financial advice, guidance and support, communication with both internal and external stakeholders and working with applicants to maximise cost recovery.
You will be well organised, analytical and with good communication skills. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and can prioritise their work to meet deadlines in a highly deadline driven environment. Previous experience of working in financial administration role is desirable and customer service skills are essential to the role. You will use the University accounting systems for which training will be provided.
This role will include hybrid working between Home and Highfield main campus and would consider applications requesting part time working. Further details can be discussed at interview stage.
