About The Role
- The Validation Manager role will contact customers to confirm the reason for a source of funds (SOF) request and explain how this aligns with the UK gambling commission directives
- The role will confirm to the customer their losses and over what period of time as well as establishing the documentation needed for the SOF request i.e Bank statements, Payslips, P60 & Savings etc, ensuring the customer understands how these documents will be saved securely.
- The role will confirm to the customer how to upload the documentation and time frames for the review process.
- The role will oversee the time frame for the customer providing the SOF documentation and follow up where necessary if documentation has not been provided
- Once the review of the SOF documentation has been completed by the AML team, the validation manager will be the main contact for providing the results of the review and requesting more documentation when needed.
Specialist skills and experience
- Previous experience requesting source of funds documents
- Excellent people skills, such as active listening, effective communication and conflict resolution
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to understand customer KPI’s and player experience
- A strong understanding of products and player preferences
- Broad understanding of Enhanced Due Diligence, including but not limited to Age Verification, Know Your Customer and profiling processes
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Good understanding of Social Responsibility triggers and tools
- Full appreciation of the UK Licensing Objectives and the importance of these to the business
- Basic understanding around Anti – Money Laundering and its link into the UK Licensing objectives
- Knowledge and use of Excel to a competent level
- Ability to work in a self-contained / independent environment knowing when to escalate and when to make your own decisions
- Be self-motivated as you will encounter many challenges and opportunities
- The ability to work on a shift basis with unsociable hours including weekends
