ACCOUNT HANDLER

Weatherbys Hamilton are looking for Account Handler to join us on a full time, permanent basis in Wellingborough. You will support the Wellingborough team with our private client division, looking after a portfolio of household, motor, farm and estate clients across the country.

We are looking to offer a competitive salary of up to £25,000 per annum DOE. In addition, you will receive 23 days’ annual leave (plus bank holidays). WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE
- Provide insurance quotations for clients and interact as necessary with insurers in obtaining them
- Prepare and issue renewal invitations
- Process risks on WH’s systems, producing invoices, preparing, and checking policy documentation
- Speak with clients on the telephone, answering their questions and taking their instructions
- Liaising with insurers, surveyors, loss adjusters and the like on all relevant issues
- Assist in the collection of premiums and the provision of premium finance where requested by clients
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Previous insurance sector experience would be desirable however, full training will be provided. We just need you just need the correct attitude and the drive to want to learn something new
- Ability to use Microsoft Suite including Excel
- Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
- Experience using Acturis accounting system would be useful
