Accounts Assistant required for a new and exciting permanent opportunity, working for a well established business based in Stone, with a view to start immediately. As the Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for the supporting the Assistant Accountant in the day to day running of the accounts department. Your duties will include:

You must have strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills and be able to manage your own workload. Experience working on Sage 50 Accounts would be a distinct advantage. Daily duties:
- Entering invoices with purchase orders onto system
- Credit Control duties
- Sending monthly statements to all customers, following up with correspondence
- Building relationships with customers
- Reconciling credit card statement, printing receipts and uploading to Sage
- Checking PODs for supplier payment
- Raising sales invoices and statements as requested
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Daily bank reconciliation
- Expenses
