Accounts Assistant
Annual Salary: £22,000 – £24,000 (dependent upon experience) + Pension + Loyalty
Hours: Mon-Thur 8.30-5.00
Fri 8.30 – 3.45
37.5 hours per week
Job share will be considered 24+ hrs pw
An exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, forward thinking group of companies who specialise in the manufacture and installation of steel floor decking systems, purlins and light gauge steel framing. Our Centralised Finance Head office in Dinnington, Sheffield is looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant.
The successful candidate will be supporting the contracting businesses, working as part of a team with elements of purchase ledger processing, processing wages, handling subcontractors, job costing, upkeep of various analysis spreadsheets, and generally maintaining accurate records and filing.
The role will suit someone with experience of working in an accounts office with an understanding of Purchase ledger. A good knowledge of Excel is necessary, as are diligence, accuracy, and a willingness to actively liaise with other staff members when necessary. Sage experience is preferred but not essential.
