We have an exciting opportunity new opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join us in our contemporary, state-of-the-art new head office located in Sheffield’s ‘Heart of the City’.
The Role
The purpose of this role is to process and maintain the purchase ledger of various group companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing and coding supplier invoices
- Entering supplier invoices and credit notes for group companies into the accounting system
- Data input
- Liaising with colleges internally and suppliers externally to resolve supplier queries
- Ensuring correct approval is obtained for purchase invoices and payments
- Preparation of payment runs for Group companies
- Maintenance of purchase ledger records and reconciliation of balances
- Provision of detailed account information to auditors as required
- Filing and scanning duties
About You
- Strong administrative skills with the ability to manage high-volume inboxes in a fast-paced environment.
- Great attention to detail, organisational and planning skills
- A strong team player who can work autonomously and with minimal supervision where required.
