Senior Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper
Job Description
We are a growing independent Accountants based in Falkirk with an exciting opportunity for an experienced senior accounts assistant/bookkeeper to join our team.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Monthly bookkeeping and preparation of VAT returns.
- Preparation of Financial Statements for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies and charitable organisations.
- Preparation of Corporate and Personal Tax Returns.
- Providing exceptional client service by addressing queries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Ad hoc admin duties.
Skills:
- Preferred 3 years work experience within practice.
- Experience of accountancy software essential i.e. QuickBooks, Xero, FreeAgent, TaxCalc etc
- Good Microsoft Office knowledge including Excel, Outlook and Word.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise jobs is key.
The successful candidate will be reliable, punctual. hardworking, able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
Salary negotiable depending on qualifications/experience and skillset
