Job description
We are a family owned Property Company based in Rochdale, looking to recruit a full time Accounts Assistant to join the Team.
The role will be varied and will develop and grow over time.
The main duties and responsibilities of the role will involve but not be limited to:
- Bank and Petty Cash Reconciliations
- Supplier Payments via online transfers
- Sales and Purchase Ledger nominal postings/journals
- Payment of Employee Expenses
- Updating Accounts Management information via excel spreadsheets
- Day to day administration including Management of Holidays, Company Cars, Phones, Utilities and Insurance
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 years all round experience of Accounting functions including the following:
- Strong IT skills
- Practical, flexible attitude with a hands on approach
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work quickly with absolute accuracy
Key Skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- An organised and methodical approach to working
- An honest and discreet attitude when dealing with company accounts
- Sage 50 Accounts and strong Microsoft Office skills are a prerequisite

Salary: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
