Accounts Assistant
I am currently recruiting for a full time permanent Accounts Assistant to work for my long established client in Windermere. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm, office based.

We are excited to announce that we are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, on behalf of our client in Bowness-on-Windermere. This is an exciting chance to join a company of real Cumbrian pedigree and become part of a people-focused team with strong local roots within the community.
The company is well-established in many areas including berthing, servicing, valeting, luxury boat brokerage, charters, retail, and training, and it is based right on the shores of Windermere. You will be working alongside people with years of experience, but interest in all things water will be extremely advantageous.
You will be responsible for completing daily administrative tasks such as reconciling accounts receivable/payable, maintaining and updating financial records, bookkeeping using the company's accounting software, analysing financial records to identify errors and discrepancies, and developing efficient workflow processes, in addition to assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Previous experience in an Accounts role is preferred. The successful candidate will be expected to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while ensuring accuracy in all areas of work.
Rate of Pay - £24k to £27k depending on skills and experience

Requirements
- Strong knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
- Working knowledge of accounting terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and accounting software
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Desire to provide great customer service
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
- The ability to multitask, without losing detail-orientation
- Past experience as an Accounts Assistant, Accounts Clerk, or similar role
