Our Water Treatment business Chem-Aqua continues to go from strength to strength, experiencing strong, sustained growth over recent years.
We are currently looking to recruit a Sales Account Manager to pro-actively identify and win new business accounts, as well as service a portfolio of existing customers throughout a South East sales territory. You will primarily be dealing with industrial manufacturing sectors including food, dairies, soft drinks, breweries, paper, plastics and many more, providing water treatment solutions for cooling towers, steam boilers and closed loop systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Pro-actively secure new business opportunities with new customer sites for both one off sales and new contracts
- Effectively manage and grow your existing customer base
- Develop a robust pipeline of opportunities throughout your sales region
- Manage the sales cycle to completion and contract start date
- Work closely with Technical staff and development team to meet customer needs
- Ensure first class customer service is delivered at all times
- Complete and manage customer orders using relevant company technology
Ideal Person
- Recent experience in a sales role within the water treatment industry
- Proven ability to win new business as well as develop existing accounts
- Good knowledge of Water Treatment Health and Safety policies and practices is essential
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Results driven and able to work under pressure
- Excellent time management and territory planning skills
- Showing accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships
- Enthusiastic and positive approach
- Must possess a current full UK driving licence
- Ideally located Hertfordshire, Suffolk, Essex, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire or London
