Due to continued expansion FreshGround is looking to recruit an Account Manager Team Leader to lead, develop and coach the account management team to deliver results, and deliver growth in the customer accounts
About the opportunity
This role involves being able to both lead the existing account management team along with having your own set of accounts, to deliver growth and results whilst maintaining excellent relationships with our customers.

Lead by example, understand, communicate, and support the policies and procedures of the organisation, including but not limited to
- Sales Process and use of the CRM system
- Health and Safety Policies and procedures
- Attendance at - and participation in - all required team meetings
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
Account Management
- Qualifying and identifying gap analysis of opportunities in the acct base
- Growing accounts with positive commercial management; actively unlocking and maximising sustainable growth.
- Implementation of collaborative Business Plans which deliver mutually beneficial growth.
- Being the customer’s advocate inside FreshGround, whilst respecting and endorsing contact with other teams and departments for day-to-day solutions
- Engage in opportunity generating activities as required.
- Regular contact of all accounts including F2F and remote methods.
Team Leadership
- Continuously sharing best practice and embed a culture of coaching and development that improves the commercial capabilities and standards of the whole team.
- Strong problem-solving ability with the judgement and skills to scrutinise customer data
- A strategic thinker that will help structure a differentiated channel strategy.
- Strengths in analysis, planning and forecasting will be beneficial.
Key Performance Indicators
- Deliver agreed increase of Market saturation in Customer accounts.
- Deliver agreed increase of acct turnover.
- Maintain contact with customer base to create a culture of outstanding customer service
