The Role:

As a Solar Account Manager, you will play a pivotal part of our Energy Efficiency Growth strategy. The Solar Account Manager role is broad and varied working with a number of internal and external stakeholders. The primary focus of the Solar Account Manager role will be the management of key customers, providing a simple point of contact and to drive additional spend from the customers you manage. City Plumbing has heavily invested in its Solar offering in the market and as our Solar Account Manager, you will help us to become the market leader in renewable energy solutions and play an integral part of the UK decarbonisation journey

Key Responsibilities

  • Management of Key customers, providing single point of contact and customer call out plans
  • Work with internal and external teams to ensure customer SLAs are met
  • Hunt, Maintain, Develop a Solar Customer base with a continued call cycle plan in place
  • Be the Customers' Choice by truly understanding our customers and their needs
  • Work with an internal team to ensure knowledge of the solar market is current and relevant so that correct advice is provided to customers.
  • Ensure that regular communication is provided to all customers with new product launches via our key Solar strategic suppliers

This role offers the opportunity of flexibility, working to a hybrid model, with work from home, some travel to branches as required and occasional meetings in Head office. You should be commutable to either our Chorley or Crick Northamptonshire office.

Skills and competencies

  • Previous experience of working within a Sales and Customer focused role
  • Energy Efficiency (Solar) or Plumbing & Heating knowledge is preferred but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in order to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders and customers
  • Solid range of Account Management/Customer Service skills
  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills
