Position Description:
We are seeking a talented Account Manager with experience in the FMCG or retail industry to join our team of dedicated professionals. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and managing existing and new client relationships with major FMCG brands, and help accelerate our already growing business.Responsibilities:
- Utilise knowledge of FMCG or retail industry to establish and manage existing and new client relationships
- Visit clients, proactively target and gain new accounts, report on campaign performance, offer advice, identify new opportunities
- Develop and maintain superb relationships with FMCG suppliers
- Act as the first point of contact for clients
- Utilise excellent negotiation skills to ensure outstanding outcomes for clients
Qualifications:
- Sales Account Manager/Business Development Manager/Account Manager/Account Executive/B2B Sales Manager/New Business Development Manager/National Account Manager/B2B Sales Account Executive or similar
- Experience in a similar Account Management/Business Development role with understanding of how businesses and organisations work and how to navigate a partner’s business
- Experience of planning meticulously detailed execution plans for large-scale projects and delivering them to plan
- Strong analytical thinking and sound business judgment
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, buzzing environment, take initiative and thrive under occasional time pressure.
Reporting to: UK Head of Sales
Current office hours: Min of two office days per week (currently Tuesday & Wednesday) but may require additional ad hoc days.

Salary: £40,000.00-£44,000.00 per year
