Reports to: Inclusion Director/Head of sales
Job Summary
Working with some of the most talented and inspiring global inclusion and diversity professionals, this position requires a strong aptitude for anticipating client needs and generating leads to discover opportunities and position PDT’s full solution portfolio, whilst engaging with internal teams to build the solutions plan that delivers optimum client value. You will be working alongside a team of people including lead generators, marketing professionals, inclusion trainers and project managers.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop business with existing/new clients to meet key financial targets
- Serve as lead point of contact and coordination for all client liaison and customer matters
- Negotiate contracts & close agreements to maximise both revenue and profit
- Engage with clients at all levels from director down, create trusted advisor insider relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors to sustain a long-term relationship
Communications and Relationships
- Build and maintain a constructive and positive relationship with all services and clients
- Liaise with internal customers, associates and external suppliers to maintain relationships and ensure continued professionalism
Professional and Personal Development
- Critically reflect on own competence and actively participate in regular performance reviews run by Head of Sales
- Identify and participate in learning and development opportunities to enhance personal skillset which will be brought forward to Head of Sales
Person Spec:
The post holder will be a meticulous in their approach, able to follow instruction and ensure a positive approach. This role is built on a blend of lead generation, sales and consultancy - meaning the role is best suited to someone who enjoys a diverse workload with plenty of variety and significant responsibility.
Key attributes for this role include:
- Knowledgeable in DEI with proven experience in sales and account management ie recruitment or training sales
- Attention to detail, ability to work to clear guidelines and an organised approach
- History of managing and developing large, global accounts
- Minimum of 2 years of high performing learning sales and consultancy experience working with global clients
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills so you become a trusted advisor
- Strong IT skills
- A positive approach to customer service both internal and external
- A willingness to take on administrative tasks
Desirable Skills
- Consultative & solution selling methodology
- Experience in selling to HR, I&D, L&D, Training or Talent would be a great addition
Although a limited amount of travel is assigned to this role, it is a remote position which requires the post holder to be motivated, disciplined and able to work under their own initiative.
