The Role
This role is ideal for an outgoing, personable and level headed candidate who is
keen to learn about block management and service charge within the residential and
student property industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Assisting the block management team to produce an annual service charge
budget for each building within their portfolio, estimating with due care the
total running costs associated,
Calculate and produce service charge invoices for each leaseholder to be
issued in a timely manner.
Producing monthly income & expenditure reports for their portfolio of buildings
to review with the block management team, highlighting any significant
variances between forecasted and actual expenditure.
Working closely with the lettings team & payments team to ensure collection
of service charge payments from all managed leaseholders.
Produce weekly arrears reports to highlight service charge debt across
leaseholders within their portfolio.
Raise payments for contractors and suppliers to ensure service charge costs
are paid in a timely manner.
Liaise with internal staff and external leaseholders to discuss any queries
relating to service charge.
Produce comprehensive commentary on budgets and financial reports to give
clarity on the building expenditure to internal management and external
leaseholders.

You will be based in our Manchester office.
Department - Finance
Contract type - Permanent
Salary - £19,000 - £24,000 per annum
Hours - 9.30am - 5.00pm Monday to Thursday, 9.30am - 4.30pm Friday
