Job Title: Account Manager
Location: WSA Communications Agency, Bletchley, Milton Keynes
Job Type: Full-time – Hybrid working, with two days office based.
Salary: £35,000 plus commission
WSA The Communications Agency specialise in providing strategic communication solutions to a niche set of clients including healthcare and education. We are seeking an experienced, dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to join our team.
Our Account Management team are at the very heart of our agency. They are a team of professional, focussed, knowledgeable and intuitive individuals who can identify new opportunities and deliver creative solutions that work. We are now looking for a confident, self-motivated professional with the ability to identify potential opportunities and present big ideas at senior level. You will be a primary point of contact for clients, liaising regularly to understand their current business objectives and working with our internal teams to develop and implement effective communication strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, becoming their trusted advisor on all advertising and marketing matters.
- Developing communication strategies that meet client objectives and deliver measurable results.
- Managing client budgets and KPIs.
- Collaborating with internal teams, including creative, digital, and PR to deliver integrated communication solutions.
- Providing regular updates and reports to clients on project status and performance.
- Identifying new business opportunities and contributing to the growth of the agency.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Account Manager in a communications/advertising agency or in a sales focussed media environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong account management skills, with a proven track record of handling and growing accounts in line with the goals of the agency and the client.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with campaign or account planning, able to guide clients to effective solutions with solid judgement.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Previous experience is essential.
