The UK FMC SMB Team is responsible for the continued growth and development of the Multicategory vertical on TikTok Shop in the UK. The primary focus of the MC SMB Team is to manage over 150 active merchants and support their continued growth, as well as onboarding potential businesses: specifically targeting high growth new players and established UK enterprise brands. As TikTok Shop continues to shake up the traditional e-commerce landscape, this team will also play a big part in shaping the future developments of the shopping platform and the services it offers to both brands and customers.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting daily operations of 50+ merchants
- Identifying common (or uncommon) brand blockers and working cross functionally to develop solutions for them
- Utilising data proficiently to better understand pain points, formulate business requirements, identify opportunities and prioritise solutions
- Managing the merchant partnership experience from initial reach out through to launch/go-live on the platform
- Working closely with cross-functional teams (creator teams, marketing, product etc) to ensure merchants are setup for success on TikTok Shop
- Identifying and onboarding SMB Multicategory brands in the UK market( Pets, Toys, Mother and Baby, Fashion accessories)
Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience of relatable account management – specialising in category growth – at an online marketplace, e-commerce business or large retailer
- Expert knowledge of retail landscape, consumer demands, digital evolution, mobile transformation and e-commerce trends
- Excellent community management skills with the ability to prioritise top merchants on an individual basis
- Strong understanding of and experience in using social media platforms, especially TikTok, preferably in a professional capacity
- Team player
- A fast learner with a good sense of judgment and original thinking
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and adjust quickly to change
- Excellent communication, presentation, analytical and data skills
