Job title: Account Manager
Location: Remote working / Cheshunt, Hertfordshire
Hours: TBA – Minimum 20 hours per week across four days
Salary: £30k pro rata + commission
Tenure: Key reviews after 6, 12 and 18 months
The Letterbox Consultancy is a door drop planning and buying agency, established in 1995. In addition to media planning, we also work with clients to help with customer database analysis and other media such as addressed mail. Clients include household names across the charity, FMCG, retail and public sectors.
The business has grown largely by reputation and recommendations. The key ethos of the business is providing expert advice and superb Account Management to clients.
In 2022 we launched a new division called SMART-Insight, which uses the planning tools from our door drop business to provide companies with customer analysis as a one-off project.
SMART-Insight is in a start-up phase, and this role is to grow the business by acquiring new clients and work with company Directors to develop the product offering.
Success in scaling of SMART-Insight, will mean that you’ll be the director of your own business division.
Day to day responsibilities
- New business – identify prospects and acquire new clients.
- Use raw data to compile analysis in Excel and PowerPoint formats.
- Consult with clients regarding the analysis and how this can be implemented within their business.
- Manage existing clients – provide Account Management support for some existing clients
Wider responsibilities
- Provide input into the development of TLC’s new SMART-Insight division.
- Identify, support, and manage marketing activities for SMART-Insight
- Contribute to management and content of company web site.
- Advise on opportunities to introduce new processes that will improve our product
Initial measures of success (12-18 months)
- Initial focus on building insight business to £50-100k turnover (50-75 new clients)
Key attributes
- An entrepreneurial spirit, with a passion for data
- Candidate must be highly proficient within Microsoft Office, in particular Excel
- Ability to read and interpret data is essential
- Highly personable and comfortable speaking within clients on phone and video calls
- Excellent written communication skills, including spelling and grammar
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week
Salary: £32,310.00-£35,518.00 per year
