This role involves significant client engagement and relationship management with identified territory/accounts within Cambridge and surrounding area. The role is to drive sales of Genomic Services by selling to existing and new clients within the specified territory/accounts, to meet targets set by the Sales Manager and represent Source BioScience professionally at all times.
Duties:
- To promote and sell the Genomics department portfolio of services.
- To deliver monthly sales ensuring the Genomics department’s revenue targets are achieved.
- To meet and exceed personal sales targets.
- To maintain and grow sales in current client base through account mapping and cross selling activities.
- To identify, develop and onboard new clients.
- To arrange and perform customer appointments on site at the customer account or at Source BioScience. The expectation is that 50% of your time will be spent performing this activity.
- To always work with integrity and high standard of professionalism.
- To maintain and update the company CRM system so all sales activities are reported and logged centrally.
- To partake in exhibitions and conferences on behalf of the company
- To compile and report on sales activities, pipelines and forecasts with your line manager.
- To attend all company sales meetings in Nottingham/Cambridge and present sales report on your territory when requested.
- To demonstrate a high level of competency and knowledge of the services for which you are responsible.
- To Interact with KOIs and clients to identify and report on industry trends for possible development of new products and services
- To comply with all quality control procedures to support maintenance of the Source BioScience’s Quality Management System.
- To comply with safe working practices in accordance with Company safety policies.
- To participate in the Annual Joint Staff Review process, in accordance with Company Policy.
- To perform any other duties as may be reasonably required commensurate with grade and experience.
- Attend any training endeavours as appropriate to role or as reasonably requested by Line Manager.
We are open to candidates with a variety of experience although you must have a relevant sicentific background.
Additional Information
Salary: up to £40,000 with commission (dependent on experience)
