The Job Opportunity
- Interesting balance of UK wholesale and international market account management with P&L responsibility.
- Work with Commercial Leader to shape the future international market distributor route-to-market business strategy.
- Be the lead internal voice to coordinate and drive all stakeholders to support delivery of future business growth objectives.
- Manage and develop effective international market business growth plans with both existing and new market distributors, focused on growing brand distribution within the leading grocery multiple retailers.
- Shape strategic brand investment in key markets to further build brand awareness and rate of sale.
- Establish and implement new trading opportunities within the major UK-based wholesale accounts.
- Role is home based with 2/3 days per week office attendance.
About You
- Having grown your FMCG career up to NAM level you’re motivated about moving into an exciting hybrid commercial role, including both the UK wholesale channel and international market business.
- Your NAM experience can include either the UK major wholesale, discounter accounts OR international market account business management.
- Your career journey includes managing food or drink brands with a track record of achieving profitable sales growth – either in the UK or internationally.
- With a professional and structured yet highly flexible style, you love a business challenge and naturally embrace a responsibility platform where you can influence the business agenda and make things happen.
- Your personality is open, friendly and team orientated, yet your strength of character allows you to take the lead and ‘cut through the cr**’ to deliver profitable sales growth.
- Most importantly, you love a challenge and have the drive, energy and ability to work at pace and would relish managing a hybrid UK and international NAM role where you can play the lead commercial role.
