Job description

The role of the accounts Manager is to support the Financial Controller in all aspects of the accounts function, including accounts preparation and internal auditing.

To to provide support by maintaining the accounting systems and records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling Sales and Purchase Ledger
  • Raising sales invoices
  • Recording receipts and allocating to invoice
  • Invoice entry onto Sage professional accounting software
  • Completing payment runs
  • Allocating payments against supplier accounts
  • Monitoring and taking sole responsibility or the accounts email
  • First point of contact for accounts queries
  • Credit Control and Debt management
  • Bank Reconciliation
  • Monitoring of Customer and Supplier accounts
  • Posting monthly expenditure on Sage professional
  • Preparation of month end activities.
  • Assisting with basic HR duties
  • Investigating and responding to staff queries.
  • Liaising with managerial staff, colleagues, Clients and Suppliers
  • Updating and overseeing the company vehicles logs

working along side of the sales team and assisting in programming of client viewings

Key skills:

This is a permanent full time opportunity which has arisen to join our exciting business on a full-time basis carried out from our office in Leeds.

The successful candidate will be offered a Salary of £32k to £35k plus 28 days paid annual leave plus, enjoy your birthday off.

Job Type: Full-time
