Overview
A market leader in the water treatment industry is looking for a Field Sales Account Manager/Commercial Sales Account Manager! They are looking for a strategic Account Manager who will sell water treatment solutions to Mechanical and Electrical Contractors and Building Merchants. This is a dual role so you will also sell to consultants also! Do you have an interest in design? Technical sales and Science?
Salary:
£37k-£40k OTE £11K which includes a team bonus and a personal commission uncapped plus a £7,020 car allowance/Car + a fuel card. Head office based in Buckinghamshire.
Territory: M4 Region – Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Wales, Hampshire, Somerset, Bristol, Wiltshire, Dorset, Devon & Gloucestershire – Isle of Wight and Jersey are remote accounts.
**Important** You must be located in Hampshire: Near Portsmouth, Southampton or Basingstoke.
Office/Work from Home: You will work from home and be expected to come into the office at least once a month or when there are team meetings.
If you want to work in the office for more days, that is also possible but due to the patch – Working from home is fine.
You will have existing accounts to tap into! Some of which are Key Accounts, lapsed and old accounts as well as being the technical expert, advising and influencing a client on what Water Treatment solution they may need for the building.
Responsibilities:
- To support the sales team / company in updating the regions relevant projects and accounts on the CRM. Updating the CRM with all actions in a timely manner.
- To visit Building Mechanical Contractors to build effective working relationships and sell the brands products, this could be office or site based visits.
- To visit Merchants to build effective working relationships and sell the brands products
- To visit Building Consultants to build effective working relationships and design with the consultant the water treatment required on commercial builds over the UK. Making sure the products are specified.
- To make effective sales calls to maximise exposure into the marketplace business to business and business to end user.
- Possess strong technical prowess within the water treatment industry or have the ability and willingness to learn quickly. Understanding of water treatment design and plant room schematics, will be required to maximise efficiency in the role.
- To attend and identify any training needs and request assistance when required.
- To carry out water treatment CPD’s at consultant sites.
- Demonstrate daily the company’s core values and support, be part of the companies mission statement.
