Sales Account Manager – Construction | Holbeck, Leeds | 8am-5.30pm Monday to Friday | £35,000 - £42,000 + commission
Established in 1945, our client is a family run business, which had been managed for over 75 years and three generations. They are specialists in commercial fit-out and refurbishment and have built an excellent reputation serving commercial clients across the UK.
In the past four years, the company has diversified into an MFC/MDF cut and edge supplier. They sell this to both the public and trade, from large companies to self-employed joiners.
This new position calls for an ambitious individual who can hit the ground running and make the role their own.
Currently, the company's monthly sales are circa £50,000, and they are eager to increase them. This is where you can help!
Are you the right person for the job?
- You will need to have a good understanding of the sheet material supply to the construction industry to have an understanding of the product
- Experience within the board supply industry
- You must be able to drive
- A past customer book/knowledge would be an advantage
What will your role look like?
- Meet or exceed sales objectives and targets
- Maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts and building relationships with new accounts
- Proactively seek and identify new markets for development, identifying suitable product ranges and marketing strategies
- Work in conjunction with the Sales Administration team to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded
- You will be travelling to different sites and coming to the office
