The role
We are seeking a passionate, client focused Account Manager delivery coordinator to join our team, managing our customers through the creation & delivery of our event products. This is a rare opportunity to be part of a team delivering a greenfield ‘never been done before’ product leveraging the latest technology.
You will be the primary contact for our Sponsor Clients & Delegate attendees, supporting their journey & driving success seen in GDS’s pipeline services through our Meet the Boss digital event products.
The role is focused towards driving our event delivery and customer experience, managing clients & partnering with cross-functional teams through pre-event requirements, supporting our onsite digital event attendance & coordination, and working with sponsor clients to provide detailed view of their event performance & value delivered
This role will be UK based but require adapted working hours to adjust to US based clients and occasional travel within Europe (Mon-Fri, 11AM-6:30PM GMT)
Responsibilities
- Key point of contact for our Sponsor clients & Executive delegate attendees for allocated events, managing their customer experience & expectations.
- New Client onboarding, confirming successful receipt of all event attendance information, documentation & tasks to complete- setting expectations of what GDS will deliver through their event experience
- Management of client activity where necessary, working with clients to meet pre-event activity deadlines (Campaign Setup Document)
- Partnering with clients to identify their event goals & requirements, recognising opportunities for further account growth
- Event onboarding, ensuring clients are prepped and enabled for their event activity & meetings
- Event attendance management, working to ensure clients & delegate executives are attending all sessions on time & working with internal departments to ensure contract delivery
- Debriefing sponsorship clients, giving view of initial event performance & pipeline opportunity delivered
- Meeting weekly & monthly KPIs towards customer progress
- Managing client/event pipeline, providing overall updates to the team manager & proactively identifying any risks & issues that could impact event delivery
- Submitting & managing internal workflows with cross-functional teams to complete and support event delivery Updating all attendee & client information in salesforce & Monday.com where required, ensuring internal teams have visibility & clear communication towards client progress & attendance status
About you:
- Minimum 2 years experience in client facing roles, with past roles of Customer success, Account Management, Project manager, Event coordinator/manager
- Experience working in a target focused environment, with a record of achievement meeting/overachieving against set KPIs
- Proven experience managing & building client relationships, working with senior leadership customer bases up to c-level
- Exceptional communication & organization skills- proven ability and experience managing multiple projects & tasks while partnering with internal & cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer experience
- Desirable but not essential- experience working within the events/digital events industry
- Desirable but not essential- experience using Salesforce CRM & Monday.com Project Management Platform
- Desirable but not essential-Degree qualified or equivalent
