Job description
Our established client is a successful and growing business who is looking to recruit an additional NAM to join their established team. You'll already have experience managing UK and International customers and have an understanding of how the grocery retailers work.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm with a 3.45 finish on a Friday. (37.5 hours a week)
Some hybrid/flexibility. You'll be spending 40% of your time out with customers and the rest of the time at your desk.
Core experience
- Management of UK and International customers.
- Identify and address specific needs within the customer base.
- Identify and attract prospective strategic customers.
- Development of both branded and private label product portfolio.
- Analysis of sales data and trends.
- Liaise with Sales and Project departments to set and implement strategies for new products.
- Ability to work, liaise and build relationships with all levels both internally and externally.
- Can work autonomously, within a sales team and cross-functionally.
- Ability to understand category data.
- Experience within Regional and National Accounts.
- Support and implement delivery of the budget process within the customer channel.
- Help build, execute and maintain JBPs within core customers.
- Administrative duties including new line forms and other responsibilities on customer portals.
- Competent with account commercials on a day-to-day basis, including P&L’s, rate of sale data & promotional modelling.
- The customer responsibility is likely to fall into the following: Existing UK Grocery retailers & International Customers/ New business opportunities including: Health food specialist retail channel/Premium Grocery retailers/Pharmacy
Skills and Attributes for NAM:
- Proven work experience as a sales executive, sales manager, account manager.
- Solid experience in sales and customer service.
- Demonstrable experience in negotiating and meeting clients’ requirements.
- In-depth understanding of sales performance metrics.
- Hands on experience with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.Strong communication skills.
- Collaborative team player.
- Positive attitude and growth mindset.
- Ability to lead and motivate team members.
- Availability to travel as needed.
- Educated to degree level.
