Location:
Home-based, with travel to designated customers, and to Ellard office in Manchester (approximately monthly).

About the Role:
As an Account Manager, you will be an expert in building successful commercial relationships with customers. You will be very aware of their business needs, and how Ellard can support them, to maintain healthy revenue in our business.
You will develop insights into how your customers interact with, and value the support from all of Ellard’s different teams, and act on these accordingly to further partnership working with your designated customers.
You will also play a key role in identifying leads for new business; qualifying prospects, opening new customer accounts, and proactively supporting customer onboarding.
About You:
You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to understand customer needs, and how Ellard can address these, in a supportive way. You are likely therefore to have several years of experience in a sales or account management role.
It is likely that you will be somewhat familiar with Ellard’s products and markets, and that you have spent some time working either in the door industry or in a related industry during your career to date.
You will be able to demonstrate that you are a conscientious record-keeper and that you are adept at reporting on, and reflecting on your activities.
You will also be able to demonstrate a commitment to sustainable, profitable growth for the business, alongside working Ellard’s Core Values into everything that you do. The ability to work from home / remotely is essential, as is the ability to travel extensively to meet designated customers face-to-face. You will also be able to travel to Manchester approximately monthly, and UK-wide as needed on occasion.
