Job Title: Senior IT Sales Account Manager
Location: Hybrid/ Remote – One day a week in the London office
Salary: £65,000 – OTE £150,000+

A market-leading IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) who specialise in software-defined and traditional network services are searching for a Senior IT Sales Account Manager to join their Sales and Accounts team. The business is offering hybrid working, with only one day a week in their London office needed.

They deliver the latest solutions across software-defined networks, security, and cloud solutions, while working with the latest innovative technologies.
They have developed a market strategy that makes them the go-to consultancy for large and complex network infrastructure projects, which makes selling the business’s services that much easier.
Senior IT Sales Account Manager Role and Responsibilities
As the Senior IT Sales Account Manager, you will work develop long-term relationships with customers engage with all seniorities of people, including senior executives.
Your daily tasks will include:
- 50% of your time will be dedicated to developing and grow existing client account where possible.
- While the other 50% will be focused on driving new customer acquisitions, from initial engagement to close.
- Report on sales activity, setting and tracking account targets.
- Provide suggestions on improvements for sales strategies and opportunities for growth.
- Stay up to date on Networking, Security and Cloud technologies.
- Work with internal teams such as Marketing, to execute successful sales campaigns.
- Provide support and guidance to the junior members of the Sales and Accounts team.
Skills & Experience Required for the Senior IT Sales Account Manager
The business offers in-depth support and flexible working with only one day a week in their company office: To support you to work however is best for you. The business asks that you have:
- Strong previous experience working in a Sales Account Manager role or something similar.
- Knowledge of Software Defined technologies such as SD-WAN and Hyper Converged Infrastructure is essential for this role.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, able to work effectively with both technical, and non-technical staff.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
