Job description
As Regional Sales Manager you will be responsible for driving sales across the M62 corridor on behalf of DL Chemicals.
You will work closely with the other Regional Sales Managers in order to identify and sign up strong distribution partners in the North in order to continue the exciting growth plans DL Chemicals have for the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working alongside the existing Regional Sales Manager analyse the market in order to ascertain who would be a suitable distribution partner for the North.
- Identify key strategic partners and agree agreement deals where required.
- Work closely with your customer base to produce bespoke products when required.
- Agree key commercial objectives with the existing distribution partners in order to maximise growth plans for the UK.
- Maintain a category / product focus (based on Features, Advantages, Benefits) and develop relationships by expanding the range within existing and new accounts.
- Support the existing distribution network sales forces with product training and key customers.
- Attend joint visits with existing sales members within the distributor network (with a specific focus on Key Account customers)
- Support the company with Trade Show duties
- You will be based in the North with extensive travel both in the UK and at times internationally.
The Successful Applicant
The Successful Regional Sales Manager will demonstrate the following:
- Be a proactive individual, that is able to work effectively remotely as well as part of a wider team.
- Demonstrate a previous track record of over achieving sales targets working for a manufacture selling via distributors.
- Previous experience within the adhesives / sealants sector would be advantageous, but this isn't a pre-requisite for the role.
- Be an excellent communicator who is able to deliver technical presentations when required.
- Experience identifying and signing up new distributors is highly beneficial for this role.
- Have a structured approach to managing your diary in order to maximise efficiency within your customer base.
- A strong rapport builder that is able to build strong working relationships both internally and externally.
- Be able to travel across the UK when required, but be based along the M62 corridor
