This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Commercial Claims Relationship Team as a Claims Account Manager on a full time, permanent basis.

The role:

You will report to the Claims Relationship Manager and work with a dedicated team of Account Managers, where you will play an important part in managing, developing and enhancing relationships with brokers and partners, ensuring that the claims process and performance align with and meet customer needs.

What you'll be doing:

• Use external and internal relationships to promote and help deliver our claims strategy

• Manage the claims relationship for specific brokers, partners, customers and individual premier commercial policyholders

• Facilitate implementation of claims arrangements to support our growth strategy

• Be a focal point for Business Development Managers on claims matters

• Support category in winning and retaining business by providing claims input into tender documents and renewal process

• Work with the Commercial Claims departments to ensure delivery of high levels of Customer Satisfaction through fair interpretation of the policy coverage, speed of response and expectation management

• Support the claims function strategy by influencing external customers

• Promote the Customer Outcome and Vulnerable Customers

• Embed a risk management culture within all claims activity ensuring adherence to risk and compliance in external negotiations and contracts

• Manage Broker Claims Delegated Authority schemes

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience working within Insurance Claims

• Ability to write reports, presentations, tenders, internal and external communications

• Ability to present and facilitate meetings whether face-to-face or MS Teams

• Ability to analyse data and articulate trends, influence corrective performance measures and monitor results

• Ability to connect with stakeholders and customers, demonstrating market awareness

• Knowledge of performance management of delegated claims handling is desirable
