CONSTRUCTION SECURITY OFFICER
Kingfisher SEC – Feltham, Greater London
We are currently looking for CONSTRUCTION SECURITY OFFICER to join our team based in Feltham.
Site Location: Feltham, London
Job type: Full time/Regular Work/Part Time
Pay Rate: Variable - £10.70 ph - £11 ph plus holiday
General duties and responsibilities include but aren't limited to:
- Monitor access out of hours of construction work
- To undertake patrols of grounds and buildings, providing a visible and secure presence as well as escort unwelcome and undesirable visitors off site. Using appropriate and effective de-escalation techniques to positively manage learner behaviour
- Control access of personnel ensuring that only authorised persons are allowed on site, including checking of ID cards. Conducting spot searches
- Providing a high standard of customer care and customer safety
- To carry out any other duties that might be required by supervisor or duty manager
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- A valid SIA Door Supervision license (ESSENTIAL)
- Preferred CSCS Card
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Fluent in English
- Be well presented, neat and tidy
- Happy to work indoors & outdoors (rain, snow or sunshine)
- Quick-thinking and the ability to deal with situations as they arise
- Flexibility to fulfil the operational requirements
- Clear 5-year checkable employment history (all staff are vetted to industry standard BS7858)
