We are looking someone who has worked in the food industry for our client to work as an Account Manager to help grow the Trade sales.
The role is based in London and is £30000 base with the opportunity to earn up to £50000 a year
How would you like to be building the Foodservice business of BANG! Curry from the very beginning? We are looking to hire a motivated and commercially astute Account Manager who can translate our Foodservice roadmap into actionable plans. You will be responsible selling the range and formats into wholesalers through identifying early opportunities in your network. Beyond sales you will support the founders in building a business model to support the growth that you deliver.
The role is best suited to either a candidate with a commercial background in Foodservice Wholesale or a National Account Manager with longer-term ambitions to more senior roles. As we grow, you will too!
Key Responsibilities
Work within the Foodservice roadmap to identify opportunities and create a plan of action that you will deliver. Managing founder expectations on deliverables and timelines whilst you proactively find new business/customers and develop new and current accounts.
Understand and act upon the agreed strategy, values, vision, brand guidelines and current go-to-market plans.
Own the Foodservice P&L - maximising sustainable short and long-term sales and profitability with the customers and customer groups in line with the range offer that we’ve curated with you.
Build a forecast and P&L that drives Distribution; sustains relationships and grows our professional brand. You will be expected to contribute to developing a format for negotiating on price and range.
Present plans, products and selling concepts to customers.
Build professional relationships with all customers and partnerships with strategic customers.
Contribute to internal strategy, customer plans, go to market plans and selling concepts. Internal business planning and follow up, forecasting, profitability and trade terms.
Work together with other colleagues to make sure we win business that will be supplied via our wholesaler network- need to work in a close loop / Matrix approach leading projects and key business targets using the wider team. Develop, maintain and extend proactively a strong network of relationships internally and externally to respond to customer needs.

Skills, Knowledge and Experiences
Experience required in Foodservice and specifically working with wholesaler business either as KAM or sales manager or other similar direct sales role
Proven result delivery and an entrepreneurial mindset are important. Strength in developing mutual benefits within negotiation, collaboration and inter-personal skills will help unlock opportunities for BANG! curry

Proven track record in leading relationship with Key wholesalers is essential

Salary: £30,557.65-£50,583.58 per year

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
