Overview
To support our ambitious growth objectives, Crisis24 is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Account Manager to join our high-performing commercial team and drive account retention and upsell across a portfolio of corporate accounts within the UK and Northern Europe.
The role forms part of our global sales function and will be based in either our Bournemouth or London office with a degree of remote working possible. The successful candidate will be required to assist with driving top line revenue growth by retaining and growing their account portfolio and will play an active role in helping the business achieve its commercial objectives.
It is expected that the successful candidate will have a proven record of success within account management and can demonstrate excellent retention rates and how they have grown their accounts. Our holistic service solution(s) can be complex so experience providing consultative based, solution sales would be preferable, as would experience within a SaaS sales environment.
Responsibilities
The role will include the following responsibilities:
- Owning and managing a portfolio of B2B clients with a core focus on ensuring contract renewal and account retention
- Identify opportunities to upsell additional products and services into the existing client base and achieve portfolio growth targets
- Managing all commercial aspects relating to each client, including preparing and proposing pricing and negotiation
- Developing and extending our relationships and touchpoints within each client, helping Crisis24 to maintain a high profile throughout the account
- Presenting Crisis24’s full suite of services across travel risk management, risk consulting and executive protection, with a focus on upselling.
- Operates as the primary point of contact for each client, supported by our internal teams
- Develop deep understanding and knowledge of Crisis24’s client value proposition and the travel risk and medical assistance industry.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Industry experience within travel risk management and/or medical and security assistance
- Proven experience of renewing business by developing account retention strategies and managing retention processes
- Demonstrable success achieving revenue growth targets within a portfolio by upselling/cross-selling
- Excellent client relationship management skills in a B2B SaaS environment
- Ability to quickly learn and be comfortable presenting platform solutions to clients
- Experienced using Salesforce to proactively manage and record client activity is essential
- Professional and credible and can develop relationships quickly
- Previous experience of managing and writing bids, responding to RFPs, and creating proposals.
- Some knowledge of corporate insurance would be beneficial
This role will report directly to the Sales Director, Northern Europe and be based in Bournemouth or London.
Remuneration
- Salary is dependent on experience but will be competitive
- Excellent package including OTC
- 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays recognised in England.
