Duties & Responsibilities as an Account Manager:
Account Managers focus on introducing and selling new corporate services to existing clients. Using your detailed knowledge of Cloud21’s services, you will develop client relationships and seek account expansion opportunities in accordance with the client needs.
This requires engaging with our customers and internal teams at different levels to understand and manage their needs as we aim to expand our services into new locations and markets. The candidate will have experience working across the healthcare technology or healthcare consulting sector.
You must be a strong communicator and be able to manage multiple client relationships. You will have the competence to manage your own workload across multiple workstreams, as well as dealing with internal teams and third-party organisations as required to ensure that all proposals, or new business opportunities are delivered successfully and in an effective manner allowing our clients to benefit from Cloud21s great services.
It is essential that the Account Manager has developed skills throughout their career to listen to the customer, looking for clues that they are experiencing challenges in line with Cloud 21’s service offering, with the ability to create innovative solutions in response to customer needs.
Core responsibilities as the Account Manager will include:
- The ability to command respect and “hold the room” in front of senior executives
- Providing timely and clear communication around customer requests to internal teams enabling rapid sourcing of high-quality talent
- Developing relationships with our customers and associates through regular meetings as required
- Leveraging relationships within client organisations to expand our presence and identify new opportunities
- Developing annual account plans and strategies and overseeing overall account retention, expansion, and growth
- Presenting new and innovative services and partnership opportunities to client stakeholders
- Serving as a consistent point of contact and relationship manager for assigned clients
- Coordinating across engagement teams to ensure seamless support and clear understanding of overall relationship between Cloud21 and the client
- Leading regular, internal shared account management meetings to develop account plans and execute on expansion strategies in collaboration with engagement teams
- Maintaining sales activities and pipeline updates in Salesforce in accordance with Cloud 21 policies
- Attending industry conferences and other activities to generate new business opportunities, develop industry expertise and build the Cloud21 network
- Contributing to sales group meetings concerning sales targets, sales forecasts, and reporting on existing pipelines
- Participating in training sessions, and ad hoc/internal projects
- Identifying, tracking, and managing risk, and implementing core activities and plans to ensure client expectations continue to be met.
- Establishing and maintaining good working relationships at all levels.
Experience/ qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience of working in healthcare or healthcare IT
- Experience interfacing with healthcare leadership and providing thoughtful, actionable recommendations
- Experience communicating to large and small groups of individuals at all levels, including executives
- Exceptional verbal, written and video communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, think critically, act strategically, and deliver results effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Account management experience.
- Extensive Stakeholder Management experience.
- Must be able to manage timescales and hit deadlines on time.
- Experience using CRM software e.g. Salesforce
