We are looking for an experienced Account Manager with a background within the Claims Management / Insurance sector to join our Account Management team. You will have a strong understanding of the claims process and be able to demonstrate your ability to manage and maintain key client relationships. Key Accountabilities:
- To manage existing relationships and cross-sell opportunities with existing partnerships.
- To ensure all services are performed per the client’s specification and resources are effectively utilised.
- Lead role in operational audits, pricing reviews, operating models, and legal contracts.
- Manage relationships within the marketplace ensuring we maintain our allocation/status.
- Assist with special projects as and when required.
- To assist the Business Account Managers with KPIs for business development and profitability, including Business Plans, Budgets and Forecasts.
- Monitor aged debt and ensure levels are kept within tolerances.
- To carry out and deliver in line with the set strategy and direction for the development of allocated business partners.
- Co-ordinate surge/event management with allocated clients as necessary.
- Play a key part in the management of customer success through relevant and effective contributions to strategy, planning and service improvement initiatives.
- Monitor all complaints and actively become personally responsible for resolution if any issue escalates to management level.
- To assist in resolving high-level problems. Some of these include (but are not limited to): complaint claims, any IT-related queries, service levels etc.
- Keep informed of competition and industry trends that may impact client business activities
- Communicate client priorities to key stakeholders through meetings and/or ad-hoc briefings as necessary.
Qualifications & Experience - Essential:
- Account Management experience in a similar role
- Full understanding of Financial Services markets
- Knowledge of the Insurance sector
- In-depth knowledge of the claims process
- Knowledge of FCA regulations

You will join other new starters from across the business for the 3-day, residential* induction, during which you will meet with Senior Leaders & Directors from all areas to gain a comprehensive overview of each product line, and how the different teams operate across the group. There will also be a lunch or meal booked with People & Culture, so you are able to have more social interaction with each other and some of the team.
*Residential is dependent upon the candidate’s location.
