Our client a forward-thinking accountancy firm with offices in the South West have an opportunity for an Practice Accounts Manager to join their experienced team of professions in their Barnstaple office.

You will have responsibility for a mixed industry portfolio, providing all round accounting and taxation services and advice for both unincorporated and limited companies.

What will you be doing?

• Take responsibility of a mixed industry portfolio, providing all round accounting and taxation services and advice, and taking some client meetings
• Deal with day-to-day client matters and consult with a Partner on general issues and specific one-off projects
• Assist with the day to day running of the department
• Mentor and train more junior members of the team

Your skills and qualifications:

• ACA/ ACCA part or fully qualified (or equivalent)
• Practice experience, preferably in general practice although not essential
• Technically expert accounts and taxation knowledge
• Able to function as a lead for colleagues
