As one of the South Coast’s leading digital marketing agencies, we design and manage the websites, marketing and business systems for a large number of clients across Dorset, Hampshire and further afield. To help achieve our goals and ambitions for the future, we’re looking to expand our marketing team with experienced account managers with agency experience at all levels.

Our Account Managers are responsible for managing and optimising a portfolio of B2B and B2C brands, with a particular focus on multiple channels across content, web development, SEO, PPC, social media, PR, design and print. Candidates with previous agency experience and the ability to manage multiple projects and people, combined with strong strategic, organisational and communication skills, will thrive within this role. There is great scope for progression within our fast-growing team.

We’re looking for individuals with at least 1 year’s agency experience right up to highly experienced account managers with years of experience and knowledge under their belts to help drive business growth through best in class client and account management and develop pro-active account plans and strategies in order to meet client retention and budget targets. As marketing experts, you will also identify, propose, upsell and implement the most appropriate campaigns, projects or solutions for our clients.

Key responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, updating them regularly on campaign aims, processes and results
  • Manage a portfolio of key accounts and administer day-to-day processes
  • Work closely with clients to understand their overall business objectives and make recommendations
  • Work closely with our SEO & Content team to ensure the right strategic approach for each client & set their marketing strategy
  • Ensure clients have set KPIs and a clear growth plan
  • Ensure that all budgets are adhered to and that all campaigns are delivered within the agreed timescales
  • Contribute to monthly account reporting & analysis
  • Identify opportunities and help to bring in extra work / upsells to achieve team monthly target
  • Help to manage, coach and mentor the Marketing team
  • Develop and implement best practices in Account Management and Client Services
  • Acts as an ambassador for b4b both internally and externally

Requirements of the role:

  • Background in digital marketing and account management within an agency environment – 1 year+
  • Excellent understanding and keen interest in always learning about the digital and marketing landscape
  • Confident and effective influencer both internally and with existing and prospective clients
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and handle multiple projects at any given time
  • An eye for detailed combined with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and analytical skills
  • Great presentation skills when dealing with clients
  • Pride in your work & your appearance as you will be an ambassador for our business
  • Full UK Drivers Licence with own car
