Our client is a globally respected engineering organisation, providing white collar, Blue collar and engineering services to many sectors including energy, aerospace, marine and defence. On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for 2 Customer Account Managers on a 6 -Month contract based within the client’s site in Derby.

These positions are available on initial 6-month contracts and will support a hybrid (office based/remote) working model.
You will be responsible for the in-contract management of our designated suppliers, providing continuity of supply to required. Working collaboratively, as part of a highly skilled cross functional teams to ensure that strategies meet the needs of current and future manufacturing programmes.
Key Accountabilities:
- You will be managing strategic partners and relationship with service providers who can be joint venture partnerships
- Strategic account management – large MRO organisations
- Implementing strategic sourcing strategies and process improvements
- Contract management
- Stakeholder management
- Understanding supplier KPIs, SLAs, and their terms & conditions
- Using the appropriate data to make key business decisions
Essential:
- Coming from a large, complex regulated enterprise with industry experience ideally Aerospace however can consider engineering, manufacturing, automotive or associated industries
- Contract management experience
- Familiar with working in supplier facing roles
- Commercial procurement experience with contracts
- Contractual understanding of supply chain in joint ventures
- Strong commercial acumen
Ideally:
- Ideally MCIPs qualified or equivalent
- Experience with SAP
- Strong in Excel; Pivot Tables & V Lookups
