Role: Internal Account Manager
Type: Permanent
Location: Sheffield
Salary: up to £35,000
Duties:
- Manage key accounts on a day-to-day basis ensuring excellent customer service
- To build and develop long term relationships with designated key customers, via telephone, video call and occasional visits
- To manage, review and fulfil the requirements of customer SLA’s & contractual agreements
- To maintain an accurate working understanding and knowledge base of customers’ business to aid commercial decision making, including the maintenance of customer records
- To maximise margin, net profit and internal efficiency.
- To liaise with Sales Office Manager or Sales Director on any issues or opportunities with your customer base.
- To liaise with the purchasing team to order and manage customer specific stocks.
- To ensure accounts trade within current agreed credit limits.
- To manage special stocks and ensure necessary stock turn.
- To respond to customer enquiries professionally, promptly, accurately and in-line with commercial policies.
Experience:
- A proven track record of achieving sales targets within an engineering services sales environment
- Broad commercial and industry awareness
- Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to network within the client base
- Excellent communication skills – internal and external
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £27,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

- Sheffield, S6 1HP: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- Account management: 1 year (preferred)
