Data Analyst

Are you passionate about uncovering insights and making data-driven decisions? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a knack for analysing complex data sets? We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst to join our dynamic team!

You will be responsible for all aspects of data reporting and analytics to support and transform the digital reporting and analytics landscape of the GSI business unit.

What we Need

The successful candidate will be responsible for data reporting to support and transform the digital reporting landscape of the GSI business unit. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Data Analyst to work with the business functions to develop and implement visualisations and dashboards to provide insights to enable strategic business decisions using SSRS and Power BI.

  • Sets and meets challenging goals and seeks long term improvement

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Data Analyst in obtaining key trends and analytics for GS International including all aspects of data reporting for both internal stakeholders and clients
  • Being responsible for the business relationships with the Supply Chain data consumers
  • Transforming requirements into deployed interactive reports, data exports and dashboards

We’d also like to see:

  • Technical expertise in SQL and T-SQL
  • Proven track record of analytics delivery at strategic and operational levels
  • Experience with Cognos would be advantageous

Qualifications/Certifications

Essential:

  • BSc in related subject or equivalent experience
  • SQL Server Database knowledge and working experience with Proficiency in SQL and T-SQL
  • Experience working within a Supply Chain or Procurement environment

Desirable:

  • Experience with PowerBI or an equivalent BI tool
  • Experience with MS Dynamics

Security Requirements

Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK with a 3-year footprint, in order to obtain the relevant security clearance.

Location

Leatherhead - We offer flexible and agile working arrangements, however there will be an expectation to be in our Leatherhead office 3 days per week.
