Job Summary
- To deliver excellent trade sales support to key partners and agents, responding to their needs and handling situations in an efficient and effective manner.
- Support primarily the Disneyland Paris Account Managers, Trade Engagement & Events sales team, and wider trade DDI.
- Collaborate effectively with other stakeholders across the business working to find solutions and resolve situations best for the agent and our business.
- Support the DDI FY targets and Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
This role will require you to be onsite 4 days a week.
Areas of Responsibility
Point of contact for key partners, agents, and sales teams on a day-to-day basis for sales and administration related issues. Problem-solving and troubleshooting of all sales and booking situations with purpose to resolve.- Work closely and enjoy very strong partnerships with Account Managers, Trade Engagement and Events sales team, various stakeholders across the business to support the trade selling our holidays, tickets, and leisure groups.
- Provide and create various communications to the travel trade, including call to actions (CTA) pricing, product and content updates, changes to processes and contractual issues.
- Support travel agents in opening, closing, or altering credit or cash accounts, keeping clear records. Act as an intermediary between travel agencies, the sales office and relevant administration functions within the business.
- Plan, organise first class events and overseas familiarisation trips for key partners and travel agents. Working closely with teams in Paris to put the event together, ensuring the event runs smoothly. End to end management of activity including delivering within budget and attending when required.
- Support Trade Marketing with the sign-off of various material such as the annual brochure and fact sheets to ensure it meets the needs of the market.
- Tracking and fulfilment of VIP and prize-winner incentive stays.
- Attend internal meetings, contribute to the agenda, drive actions, and need to present.
- Keep informed of all related CTA’s, product content, business, and system updates and developments in the market to conduct day-to-day businesses.
- Ensure Commercial Relations Sales Guide, contact lists and other related activity is updated.
- Attend as required trade shows, special events, conferences, award ceremonies and/or other hospitality occasions.
- Pick up any other tasks asked of you to support the efficiency and effectiveness of the team and business.
Experience and Professional Qualifications Required
A strong educational background, ideally educated to degree standard.- Experience within travel industry and an administration function would be beneficial.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi- task.
- Highly organised and attention to detail.
- Proven communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Problem solver.
- Computer literate i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Ability to challenge, create new ideas, leveraging technology to drive efficiency.
- French language skills desirable.
