An opportunity has arisen to join our Client Services team. We are looking for a Client Service Executive to work closely with our clients and internal teams to support the ongoing administration and ensure effective delivery of client projects.
The successful candidate should have at least 2 years’ experience working in customer services, operations or customer facing administrative environment.
The role requires strong communication, customer service and relationship building skills along with the ability to manage the SOW writing process.
The successful applicant will need to have excellent knowledge in Microsoft excel and word. Additional knowledge of CRMs/ Microsoft Dynamics will be advantageous as the role will be maintaining our CRM with potential & current opportunities.
It will be essential to be self-motivated, driven with initiative, have the ability to apply strategies to deliver results whilst demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to fulfill the needs of the business.
This is a hybrid role - working 2/3 days in our offices either in Birmingham or West Malling, Kent and the other days remotely.
Key tasks:
- Own and execute proactively a program of account management meetings
- Be reactive to a clients’ requirements and requests and provide pertinent information to clients when asked
- Build out the profiles of key decision makers working within BLC accounts and reach out to decision makers to promote BLC offerings
- Manage the SOW writing process – capturing specifications of work, liaising with client and internal BLC resources, load into devops and write SOWs to then submit to clients and ensure a timely sign off
- Maintain Microsoft Dynamics with a pipeline of deals and report regularly to the Client Services Director re pipeline and forecast
- To pick up Dynamics skills so that over time the CSE will own the updating and management of the CRM for the Sales and Marketing team
- Input into the new business process, primarily by assisting with tender writing
Key skills/requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in customer services, operations or a customer facing administrative environment.
- Experience of client services and account management processes.
- Bid management experience would be advantageous
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Exceptional organizational and planning skills with flexibility to adapt to changes.
- Strong Microsoft office skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal senior staff and external stakeholders.

Salary: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
