My client is looking for an accounts senior to join their team of chartered accountants in Lincolnshire on a permanent full-time basis. Accounts Seniors are involved in the preparation of accounts and management accounts for limited companies, sole-traders and partnerships to draft stage, ready for review, together with assistance on audit assignments.

You will be ACA or ACCA qualified with at least 3 years of practice experience, and have strong accounting system knowledge. You will have good knowledge of accounting standards and relevant taxation matters.

Key responsibilities:

• Experience of working on audit assignments desirable.
• Ability to prepare year end accounts for companies, sole-traders and partnerships to draft stage.
• A positive, enthusiastic team player.
• The ability to liaise with the other departments in the practice such as payroll and bookkeeping.
• Good organisational skills, capable of producing high quality work in which pride is taken.
• The ability to learn from constructive feedback and to learn and develop skills within the team.
• Mentoring and training of more junior members of the team.

It is expected that work will be undertaken both in the office and at clients premises as required. Travel between Lincolnshire offices will be necessary, so the ability to travel is desirable.
